Deaths' head moth lapel pin

The death's-head hawkmoth, Acherontia atropos, is named after the skull pattern present on its thorax. That and the fact that they can emit a high pitched noise when attacked has associated it with bad omens historically, but they actually feed primarily on honey and are not harmful to humans.
